WHAT WE DO
SIDS AND KIDS SA IS THE ONLY BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT ORGANISATION PROVIDING FREE PROFESSIONAL, ONGOING COUNSELLING FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIAN FAMILIES. WE DO NOT RECEIVE ANY FORM OF GOVERNMENT FUNDING AND RELY SOLELY ON THE SUPPORT OF THE COMMUNITY TO ENSURE OUR VALUABLE, LIFE SAVING SERVICES CONTINUE.
FUNDRAISING AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS
Introducing our brand new Fundraising and Awareness Campaign for 2021 and beyond;
“Be Bold. Wear Red for SIDS and Kids SA”
This amazing, 'user-friendly' campaign allows Childcare Centres, Kindy's, Schools and Workplaces in SA to choose a Friday in the months of June/July/August to “Be Bold and Wear Red”. Donations to 'Be Bold' will support the life-saving services provided by SIDS and Kids SA to the South Australian community.
When the question is asked...."Why are you wearing red today?", it invites the prime opportunity to open the discussion about Safe Infant Sleep Education as well as breaking down the walls to chat candidly about Grief and Loss.
Your Centre/School/Workplace simply chooses a date, advertises internally within your community, and the SIDS and Kids SA team will fully support your Campaign Day with:
Posters to advertise and comms for internal email use
Merchandise (keyrings and pens) to sell on the day.
All money raised directly supports our FREE professional Grief Counsellors to visit the homes of parents in their darkest moments following the death of a child from conception to age 6 years. This could be a death as the result of a road accident, drowning, sudden onset illness, stillbirth, sleep accident or miscarriage.
These parents rely on YOU to make the difference.
