Learn how to sleep baby safely and create a safe sleeping environment by attending a SIDS and Kids Safe Infant Sleeping education session.

About The Event
Some of the topics the session will cover include:
• 6 steps for safe infant sleeping
• Parental concerns about the back sleeping position
• Importance of tummy time
• The South Australian Safe Infant Sleeping Standards
• Discussion of SIDS and SUDI
• Unsafe sleeping environments
• Transition from cot to bed
The session provides foster care staff with a sound understanding of safe sleeping principles, so that they can model these in day to day practice. Attending this SIDS and Kids SA information session is a great way to get informed about the current safe infant sleeping guidelines. Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.
